This is a big boy. Indulgently rich and dense, this wine has the floral juicy parts of Grenache blended with the bacon notes of Syrah. There are firm, grippy tannins and a long finish.

This wine feels hedonistic in all the best ways, and I feel almost guilty drinking all by myself, but I doing it anyway. Over and over.

This wine was allowed to ferment natively with 20% whole cluster and was aged in neutral French oak for 16 months.

2017 Press Gang “Andi” Red Blend

$32.00

Both Grenache (LaCerte Vyd) and Syrah (Robert Rae Ranch) that make up this massive wine were farmed by nonother than Chris King of Cosecha farming. Chris’s dedication to quality farming show in the fruit he delivers each year. North facing Sta. Rita Hills Syrah and South facing, tight planting Grenache come together like Jekyll and Hyde in this wine. A perfect match.

We're on a break!

Don’t worry. We are coming back better than ever in 2024!

While Ownroot Collective  will continue to focus on winemaker side-projects, we will now offer 4 shipments per year, shipped automatically.

You can still shop for wine any time, and we will still offer lots of content, connection, and virtual tastings with winemakers.

We hope you will join us for our newest adventure!
