This wine is the color of a velour track suit. It reminds me of the good cocktail cherries, the ones that go in manhattans at the fancy restaurants. It reminds me of everything that is purple in the world.

This is juicy and delicious and the tannins are present but not attacking. This is a great dinner wine with minerality and slate and boysenberries all over the place.

40% of this wine enjoyed carbonic maceration, 50% of it was fermented with whole cluster. All of it was fermented in close top egg shaped fermenters and aged in neutral French oak for 10 months, before it was bottled unfined and unfiltered. 125 cases produced.

2018 Minus Tide Carignan

$30.00

Feliz Creek was purchased by new owners who were not serious farmers at the time, and Kyle & Brad hooked up with them right after they purchased the property. It is one of the oldest planted properties in the county.

These head pruned vines are 113 years old, dry farmed and all organic.

The vineyard runs along Feliz Creek northwest of Hopland. It has loamy soils that run along the creek and has a dry warm climate that makes this vineyard distinctive in the area.

We're on a break!

Don’t worry. We are coming back better than ever in 2024!

While Ownroot Collective  will continue to focus on winemaker side-projects, we will now offer 4 shipments per year, shipped automatically.

You can still shop for wine any time, and we will still offer lots of content, connection, and virtual tastings with winemakers.

We hope you will join us for our newest adventure!
