This wine is sourced from a vineyard on Sonoma Mountain called Hollister Hill. It is farmed by Jeff Mayo, whose family owns the Mayo Family Winery. The Riesling sits on a plateau by a lake, which is nice for the cooler influence. There is not much Riesling planted in Sonoma County, and they are lucky to have found this vineyard in such an ideal location.
By now you might be sick of me talking about Riesling in America, so I hope you have learned that these dry and refreshing styles are good daily drinkers, pair with a wide array of food and are in no way polarizing in flavor profile. Just damn good wine.
