This wine is generous and rewarding with a kiss of green flowers and white pepper lingering under explosive aromas of white peach, passionfruit and guava. We give this all the YESes. This wine is so enthusiastic, with a broad palate that is complicated without being demanding.

This wine was fermented with cultured yeast on the lees in stainless steel and then aged for 6 months. Malo was inhibited.

2021 Proxy Grenache Blanc

$28.00

Molly is a nurturer by nature. She’s got an innate sense of what is comfortable and soothing, and this shows in her winemaking. She is easy to be around and has a quiet enthusiasm that comes from pushing the plethora of brands she has worked with into the spotlight, while she remains the unassuming support.

The Grenache Blanc for this bottling comes from the Mounts Family Vineyard on the eastern edge of the Dry Creek AVA. The Mounts family has been proudly farming their patch of Dry Creek Valley for more than 70 years.

Molly’s goal for this project is to stay small, keeping her interested and hands on. She is making Pinot Noir in her garage this year, and I can’t wait to taste it.

We're on a break!

Don’t worry. We are coming back better than ever in 2024!

While Ownroot Collective  will continue to focus on winemaker side-projects, we will now offer 4 shipments per year, shipped automatically.

You can still shop for wine any time, and we will still offer lots of content, connection, and virtual tastings with winemakers.

We hope you will join us for our newest adventure!
