Dangit, this is so good! Super aromatic and floral with apple blossom and citrus blossom. Great acid in with zippy lime and tart guava flavors, and an herbaceous quality that feels more like lemongrass than green herbs.

Fermented with a yeast specifically for this grape, fermented in partial stainless and partial acacia barrels. Aged for 5 months, partial Malolactic fermentation.

Flower Bomb, Saint K

LABEL: Chris came up with the story of these labels after he saw some pictures of mutated daisies that popped up after the Fukushima disaster. Here are some images – they are totally wild. Previous vintages were even more explosive, but this one is my personal favorite.

This wine is 100% Malvasia Blanca, which is an uncommonly grown varietal in California, more commonly seen in Italy, Spain and Greece. This one comes from French Camp Vineyard in the Paso Highlands. This 1500 acre vineyard is in the warmest section of the Paso Robles AVA and currently grows 25 varietals. The property is SIP certified, employs a falconer at harvest (instead of netting),  and uses compost teas and cover crops in efforts to keep the soil healthy.

We're on a break!

Don’t worry. We are coming back better than ever in 2024!

While Ownroot Collective  will continue to focus on winemaker side-projects, we will now offer 4 shipments per year, shipped automatically.

You can still shop for wine any time, and we will still offer lots of content, connection, and virtual tastings with winemakers.

We hope you will join us for our newest adventure!
