This wine is like taking the light rail to Kumquat City! Bursting bright ripe lime and fresh Honeycrisp apple balance with white tea and white pepper for utter fresh joy. Add in some Lemondrops candy and just barely ripe strawberries with light Bergamot and Pomelo on the finish. There is a lovely weight and depth to balance the brightness. This wine makes me think of a delicious dumpling where the filling is tropical fruit and the edges are citrus and I am so so happy about it.
The fruit for this wine was hand harvested on October 5, fermented naturally, and aged in stainless steel barrels for 4 months. It was then bottled unfined and unfiltered, so vegan.
