Like walking through a field of giant sunflowers in Tuscany, this wine tastes distinctly Italian. It is bright and breezy with tart lemon and clementine. A super lean and green machine of orange blossom and hazelnut on the palate. You will feel like you are back in the old country and someone just picked fresh zucchini flowers and you are stuffing them with goat cheese and everything is right n the world.

These organic grapes were foot tread and then whole cluster pressed. They enjoyed a native ferment and then aged for 4 months in both neutral French oak and stainless steel drums. It was filtered for clarity and stability and is vegan.

70 cases produced.

2022 Puppione Festa Bianco

$30.00

This is 100% Friulano from the Sierra Foothills. It is a single vineyard from Snows Crossing, this little organically farmed spot that in addition to growing Friulano, they have Cinsault, which is just so bizarre that those two are in the same vineyard. I met a really nice man from the area named Ken. So Ken has his own label. He’s a retired San Francisco firefighter whose gift to himself upon retirement was to start a winery. He also manages vineyards all throughout the foothills. So, you know, two Italian guys get together and say, Hey, this would be fun to work together.

We're on a break!
